Founded in 1984, our Club is committed to helping the children of Onslow County. We have raised money and provided countless volunteer hours on our signature projects as well as assisting other agencies who have the same goals as us - children.

We have assisted Onslow Memorial Hospital, Brigade Boys and Girls Club, Onslow Partnership for Children, PEERS, and more.
Some of our accomplishments include supporting our Key Clubs, Onslow Children's Museum, Kiwanis Cottage at Boys and Girls Home at Lake Waccamaw, shelter at Onslow Pines and the purchase of lights for the Belgrade-Swansboro soccer field.

We strive to perform at least one service project a month. Past service projects include road-side clean-up, CHEW pack out of meals, and construction of Little Free Libraries to name a few.
We strive to make a difference in the lives of children in our community. We do this by fundraising, helping other non-profits, performing service hours, and having fun.

We are just like you!

This past year, our Club was honored to recognize Tom Mahlum for his many years of dedicated service to our community as well as Kiwanis. He has been a Kiwanian for over 40 years!

If you are reading this, you ARE the one.

You're the one who knows the importance of a strong education. You value your environment. You hold doors for people and offer a smile when someone holds one for you. You know people deserve to be happy, healthy and safe. We know how you feel because we feel that way too.

And we know you're the one.

You're the one who can change the world, Right now, Right this moment. How do we know? Because we know that everyone has that power within them. Really. You do. One simple act of kindness toward another changes the world. Can you imagine the power you'd have if you joined forces with others who are also the one?

You are the one. It's you. This is an amazing world. Let's continue to make it better by helping children and families live their greatest lives.

We meet the first three Wednesday's of every month in the morning for breakfast beginning at 7:30 AM at Golden Corral, 2055 N Marine Blvd, Jacksonville, NC. We also have one night meeting on the fourth Wednesday of the month. It begins with a social at 5 PM with the location changing monthly.
Attendance at two meetings is required before an application for membership can be considered. Check out the  Kiwanis factsheet for more information on the many  accomplishments that Kiwanians have made for children around the world. All that is necessary is a willingness to attend meetings, work on projects, and help make a difference in the community.

Our Club is part of the Carolinas District of Kiwanis International which includes both North Carolina and South Carolina with 175 plus clubs and over 5,500 members. More information on the District can be found on their website.

Each year, there is a Mid-Year Conference as well as a District Conference which are opportunities for all Kiwanians to learn more about what each club is doing, form lasting friendships and to continue the mission of Kiwanis.

This year's MidYear Conference is scheduled for February 7-9, 2020 in Charlotte, NC. Check out the website for more information on the conference schedule and events.
